Teaser Tuesday's #5

Hosted by Should be Reading, Teaser Tuesday's is a fab way to get a snippet of what everyone is reading. Maybe you've read the novel shared and remember the quotes given, or perhaps it's a novel you haven't heard of. Join in the fun, read the teaser's and post your own.

Here's what you have to do:

-Grab your current read
-Let the book fall open to a random page
-Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
-You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!

And please do not post something that could spoil the plot of the book!

My Answer:

This week i'm choosing teasers from The Last Awakening by Rachel Firasek.

This is the second book in her series Curse of the Phoenix.

 his own perverse pleasure, he’d never give her that, but this

 he could do.

“S’il vous plait. Do you want me to beg?”

The tension drained from his body, and his head rolled

Ok, so i should have shared less...but in truth i have many quotes that i wanted to use. I nearly had to ennie-meanie-miney-mo them. I hope these give you a great teaser of what to expect with The Last Awakening, though i'd really recommend you to read it!
