My teaser this week comes from Gena Showalter's The Darkest Night. Book one in her Lords of the Underworld series. I picked it up yesterday for my train journey to England and decided to add the rest of the series to my tbr pile...

ReplyDeleteThe paranormal genre is not one that I choose to read very often and I am not this is a book that I would be rushing out to buy, especially as it is part of a series. The teaser lines however, were fantastic and I really do need to know what is going on.
ReplyDeleteI checked out your personal page and I just love the quote about the silver lining ... it is just oh so true for most of us. Maybe if we settled for the silver lining, we wouldn't all be striving for that elusive gold, which is unattainable to so many of us and probably wouldn't make us happy if we were to find it.

Argh, this is a good teaser! But series is a no-go right now, I have so many series to read already... ~.~ Is this a vampire series?
ReplyDelete@D, I know right-there are so many great series' to read out there, my tbr pile is rapidly growing! No, the main characters are cursed with demons in them like wrath, violence, misery etc. Really is one to give a go when you have the time. Thanks for stopping by :-)
